General description:
The German Lacrosse Association (DLaxV) is looking for an Assistant Coach for the German U19 Women’s Lacrosse national team. The assistant coach will be expected to support and work in tandem with the existing staff in preparation for international tournaments. The candidate will also support the development of players and coaches in Germany. A major focus of the role will be to work with goalies in the program to help them develop and excel on the field.
Duties and responsibilities:

Attend all tryout camps and international tournaments (usually one tournament a year during summer), as well as any staff meetings or calls for planning purposes

Support the head coach with any tasks including giving feedback to players, contributing drills, sending out communications, etc.

Contribute ideas and work with staff on furthering the development of the German league and youth programs as a whole

Lead and take responsibility for the continuous development of goalies who come through the program

Cooperation and communication with the DLaxV and women’s senior program

Develop players individually and as a team

Give verbal and/or written feedback for players as needed

Communicate with local coaches to grow the game in Germany
Requirements:

Responsible, motivated, proactive and self-sufficient to deliver tasks within deadlines

Proficiency in English and/or German

Lacrosse coaching experience preferred. International coaching experience a plus

Goalie experience as a player or coach preferred. If no goalie experience, applicant must be willing to learn and able to transfer knowledge to players

Candidate should be based in Europe
Costs for travel and accommodation for preparatory events, practice weekends and tournaments will be covered.
