New Head Coach of the German Men's National Team

The German Lacrosse Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Bagley as Head Coach of the senior German Men's National Team in preparation for the European Championship 2016 in Hungary, and beyond.

Matt comes to Germany with impressive lacrosse credentials. Graduating from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2001 after playing lacrosse for four years, he ended up in England where he played for the English National Team helping them win a gold medal in the 2008 European Championships in Finland, and fifth place at the 2010 World Championships in Manchester, England. Afterwards he was elected as Senior Head Coach of the English Lacrosse Men's Team for the 2014 FIL World Championships in Denver, Colorado where he led his team to a fifth place finish.

Matt currently lives in London, with his wife and son, where he teaches for TASIS (The American School).
