The DLaxV was requested by the FIL to recommend someone from team Germany for the Spirit of Lacrosse Award. After much discussion, we as the board decided that Simon Krause deserved the award. The FIL awarded it Simon in the official ceremony. Simon afterwards gave his award to Jamie Plunkett without the knowledge of the DLaxV. The German Indoor Facebook Page is the official channel of DLaxV. The information posted there that Jamie won the award was incorrect, and was corrected by the DLaxV board immediately.
